Shari Fitzpatrick is Berry Good

In 1989, Shari Fitzpatrick opened her first retail store, Shari’s Berries Inc., in Sacramento, CA. What began as a hobby and gift idea years before soon became a passion and a booming business, resulting in four successful retail locations in the greater Sacramento area.

I can't wait to try her new delightful creations. Perfect for the holidays.

Shari has refocused her creative energies by expanding her offerings through her latest company, The Berry Factory. Considered the “Founder’s Reserve Label”, her exclusive collection has taken hand dipped berries to the next level. In addition to Shari’s original creations, The Berry Factory features a variety of innovative new selections including Cheesecake Berries, Truffle Berries, Caramel Berries, Caramel Apple Wedgies, Baseball Berries and for the holidays, Candy Cane Berries. The Berry Factory ships gourmet gifts nationwide.

Shari continues ownership of her original Shari’s Berries Company and all locations feature The Berry Factory collection.

Fitzpatrick may have been founder of Shari's Berries but didn't do anything to contribute to the booming nationwide business it is today. She is only limited to the Sac area. The company that owns rights to the brand name, along with it's creative team has grown this company with hard creative work. Fitzpatrick has been kicking herself for selling out years ago and has been taking credit for all the glory. Now this woman has started 'The Berry Factory' to go in competition with the brand she foolishly lost control of years ago. What a sad setback for real business women

I like the look of Shari's Berries and all, but one company caught my eye more. The Chocolate covered company which is based in Southern California has a more creative idea's and interesting products. The reason why she probably sold her company was because of growing busines's such as chocolate covered company. I ordered their berries last Valentine's day and they were great! Amazing size i mean nothing compared to Shari's berries, also cheaper. They even have products that Shari's Berries doesnt have, and above all what impressed me the most is they use 100% Stem berries, unlike the plain non-stem berries that shari's berries uses. I mean if i wanted to get Shari's berries, i rather go to the market by some regular plain berries and melt my own chocolate and make. Probably way cheaper !!

I own a small luxury level company here in Maine. I have a process patented for stuffed strawberries. I take them beyond chocolate, and add cheesecake, creme brulee, and tiramisu... among others. I have made many mistakes starting out this business. I had no idea Shari sold out years ago. Thank you for putting this information out there! I look up to all great business professionals. My site can be viewed at www.emingerberries.com.

Dear Anonymous,

If you feel that developing the entire Shari's Berries product line, handling all the national PR, marketing and managing all the bookkeeping for many years isn't a contribution to the nationwide company that Shari's Berries is today, then I guess you're right! BTW, the only foolish thing I did was trust the wrong people. Go to:

to read more.

The amount of support from loyal customers and Shari's Berries fans (I continue to own and operate the original Shari's Berries, Inc) has been overwhelming!! My new 'THE BERRY FACTORY' line has already been featured on The Today Show and in People Magazine. I'm a speaker for a national business womens tour with Kathy Ireland that is launching this month in LA!

Signed Shari-A Real Business Woman ;)
